Development Process
BiContinental has adopted a development methodology to maintain balance between cost and quality.
1. Analysis & Design
Purpose
•To verify understanding of requirement
•To freeze requirement, at least for the beginning phase
•To transform requirements into a design which system
will adopt
Tasks
• Static prototype development
• Architectural design
• Structure implementation model
2. Implementation
Implementation is carried out in iteration. Iteration is a more
flexible (and less risky) way adopted by us to move forward implementation. Each pass through a sequence of activities is called
iteration.
Purpose
To implement design element, integrate results produced
by individual implementers into an executable system.
Tasks
• Implement design elements
• System Design Refinement
• Integrate system
• Test Case creation
3. Test
Purpose
• To find and document defects in software quality.
• To validate and prove assumptions made in design and requirement
specifications through concrete demonstration.
• To validate that software product works as designed.
• To validate that requirements are implemented appropriately.
Tasks
• Test Case execution
• Test Case refinement
• Bug Fixing
